Yep. All of the
dossier documentation is finished and was shipped out yesterday!
The Lord really has taught me to how to trust Him.
And now the wait begins.
(I have a feeling He
is about to teach me patience.)
We're in the same place in our process right now too! Just sent all our documents and home study away...now the patience part :)

ReplyDeleteWow! You did it! Awesome that so many people moved quickly to help so he wouldn't age out. Praise the Lord, and bless you! I have seen his profile a couple of places and am so happy for him. We're still absorbing the adoption of our 2 a year ago. Get ready for a roller coaster ride. By the way, while you're waiting there's no amount of reading that is too much. Find out as much about dealing with older child and special need adoptions. It will help as you deal with behaviors later. Sometimes I say it is like taking a feral wolf out of the woods to bring an orphanage child into a family. The things they don't know and the behaviors they bring along are a shock. But still, we love them to death!

Yay! I think about yall every day and keep praying for you. I am so happy things have worked out for yall with Duncan. Can't wait til the day he finds out his mom and dad are coming for him!
