If you are here, then you have probably already been here. If not, go there now and then come back here. Got it?
Okay, so now you have been to Reece’s Rainbow.
And you have seen his adorable picture.
And you know what our next big adventure is.
We are excited and nervous and following God every step of the way.
Stay tuned!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Claire and I have been praying for Duncan since he was posted on RR and am very excited to be able to pray for you, now, too! I have two brothers with Cerebral Palsy and so upon hearing his story I (like you) was very upset.
But what a blessing that he will never have to be sent to an institution! That was my biggest fear.
My email address is clairesignshere@yahoo.com please let me know if there is anything I can do for y'all. I'm very excited to follow your journey as you bring Duncan home! (AND I was also very excited to see that you homeschool your kids! I am a freshman in high school and am homeschooled also. : ) )
God Bless,
Claire
Very excited to follow your blog. We are the family who had been committed to Duncan (and Sam). It broke our hearts to have to back away, but we knew God had it all under control. And this young lady here ^ has been a great inspiration and encouragement to us, and I'm sure she will to you too. If I can do anything to help you all out, please let me know! Sending lots of prayers and love your way!!
ReplyDeletePraying for you all!
ReplyDeleteAnother prayer warrior for Duncan here. So excited to see that Duncan has had a family step up, let us know if there's anything that can be done to help bring Duncan home.
ReplyDeleteI miss Duncan so much already. He and Sam would've been (and always will be in my heart,) my brothers. I hope to be able to keep in touch and see Duncan grow up. Please let him know how much his VA family loves him! I will thank God every day for your family! We will be praying and doing anything we can to help you!
ReplyDeleteI am Shane Stokes, the potential adoptive father for Sam, of Sam and Duncan fame. If I can help you cut any corners or red tape on anything legal (like how to get certain documents, get apostilles, etc.), let me know. I am an attorney and handle adoptions. I truly believe that this, along with God's intervention in so many ways, has really helped us get things done so quickly. Praying for you guys and Duncan, as well! sstokes@lcalawfirm.com
ReplyDeleteWe are so excited for Duncan and your family. We adopted our two from the same orphanage in 2007 and 2009. Send me an email when you can, we'd love to connect with you!

Praying for your family and for Duncan. We have been following his journey with the Morton's. We are currently adopting from the same orphanage. We are in country and awaiting a possible court date tomorrow. We have encountered many mountains on our journey, but God has seen us through and has built our faith tremendously. We know He will guide you through your journey. Blessings- Stacy
ReplyDeleteI so look forward to following your blog. Duncan's photo and story captured my heart when I first saw him on RR like no other child ever has--I sat here and just wept for that precious boy! I was so thrilled to hear he had found a family--now it turns out he still has a family, but a different one. Trusting in God's sovereignty and eagerly anticipating his coming home to your family :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm another who has prayed for Duncan and Sam. I will be eagerly following your journey.

I think, I have missed something.
ReplyDeleteReally not know what's that.

I'm reading your story backwards...what kind of friend is THAT? I am sorry that I am finally JUST able to get caught up. His picture--so sweet. Oh, to put a face with a name. He is YOURS! I can just tell by his smile and his eyes. Duncan Daughton also sounds perfectly alliterated (like my own name, of course). You and Tim are brave, kind, wonderful, and just the right amount of stubborn. Love you guys!
